TRAPEZE COURSE 2023-24

About the course
This course encompasses a diverse range of skills, blending technical

and artistic prowess, strength and flexibility, security, and body

awareness, fostering teamwork and boosting confidence.

The course will take place 2 hours a week for 7 months and it is

divided by three modules.

Module 1: Technical Skills
In the initial module, our primary focus will be on honing technical

skills. We will prepare our bodies to navigate the trapeze with comfort

and safety, expanding our aerial vocabulary by mastering various

figures, tricks, and sequences.

Module 2: Artistic Expression
The second module delves into the realm of artistic expression. Here,

we explore our creative potential, leveraging existing skills and

introducing new sequences. We delve into the nuances of movement,

rhythm, space, levels, dimensions, and textures.

Module 3: Creative Performance
In the final module, we transition into the realm of creation. We amalgamate all the skills and knowledge acquired throughout the course to collaboratively craft a group performance, culminating in a presentation at the Inspiral Summer Gala.

The structure of our lessons will go from floor warm-up, aerial conditioning, apparatus practice, and stretching exercises.
Instruction will primarily be provided by Marta Matovelle, with occasional guest artists enhancing the course content.
This course is designed for adults (16 years and above) with prior aerial experience, who seek to embark on this comprehensive journey. If you don't fit this profile but still wish to participate, please contact the instructor, and we will find a suitable solution.
The language of the course is English.
